We work every weekend at someone else’s party…and trust us, we love it. But, we realized the Boston wedding industry needed a party of our own. In 2016, the B List was born. Since then, it has become an annual industry tradition that gets us all on the dance floor before the season gets crazy.
This years theme: The moon and stars have aligned on our 5th year…and it’s gonna be out of this world. Join us for a Retrograde Masquerade on March 4th, 2020 that will surely open your eyes to the elements and allow you to embrace and unleash the energy of your power… And if that’s not really your thing - no worries - it’s still one hell of a party! It just so happens to be on a day our planet appears to be moving backwards in orbit…

When we co-founded Whim Events in 2011, our mission was to give engaged couples the dreamiest weddings ever, and to support local artists + makers to bring these events to life. Since then, we've steadily built our planning/floral design company, working with some of Boston's best artists and craftsman. Amidst the fun, we realized one thing...the event industry can be click-y and catty if you aren't too careful. And that ain't cool. So in 2016, the B List was born, to connect and foster Boston's event community and to encourage collaboration over competition. Because honestly, we believe the most magical events are produced when talented people connect.
