What IS THE BLIST? (#theblist)

A pre-season industry bash for Boston's wedding vendors, to celebrate our hard work with a bang. The B List event is an opportunity to get together (when we are not working, gasp!) over cocktails + local bites, to dance our faces off with our favorite event people + meet new industry creatives whom we stalk (ahem, love) on instagram for future collaborations. 

WHY CREATE THE BLIST?

To connect and foster Boston's event community and to encourage collaboration over competition. Because honestly, we believe the most magical events are produced when talented people connect.

WH0 IS THE BLIST?

The B List is hundreds of Boston industry folk, including event planners, designers, stylists, florists, photographers, cinematographers, bands, DJs, hair + makeup artists, sign makers, calligraphers, stationary designers, bakers, caterers, mixologists and rental companies. We believe in spreading the vendor love and getting everyone involved potluck style to make one amazing bash.

PAST B LIST EVENTS

In February of 2016, The first B List event was a Blast with a capital B. Yes, at one point there was an impromptu glow stick jumprope competition. We had over 130 of our industry's finest in attendance and some siiiiick sponsors to boot. Then, in 2017, the guest list nearly doubled in size to over 350 industry people for one of the most amazing disco themed boogie bashes in Boston. There was certain pair of pants seen round on the world, and almost every single person had glitter all over their pillow the next morning. And in 2018, everyone showed up in their 90s gear, and asked us how will you ever top this???! Well, in 2019, we did with a “SO EXTRA” theme that made 350 industry peeps pull out their best wigs and their inner unicorns!!!! What’s up for 2020. you ask?!
